oneclick is a Chrome extension that uses AI to answer homework questions in Google Docs. This policy explains what data is used and how.
oneclick does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. We do not operate user accounts, analytics, or tracking of any kind.
To use oneclick, you provide your own Gemini API key from Google AI Studio. This key is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage and is never sent to our servers. It is only used to make requests directly to Google's Gemini API on your behalf.
When you click the oneclick button, the text content of your open Google Doc is sent to our backend (hosted on Supabase) solely to generate an answer. This content is:
If the optional Sentence Rewrites feature is enabled, individual sentences from the generated answer are sent to our backend to be rephrased. The same rules apply — sentences are not stored or logged.
