Goals, reflections, and settings

Goals saves your daily and long-term goals, progress, reflections, history, and reminder settings locally. Any feedback drafts saved by an earlier version also remain local. The app shares daily goal data with its Home Screen widget so you can view and complete goals there.

Goals has no built-in cloud sync. Depending on your device settings, app data may be included in backups managed by Apple. The developer does not have access to those backups.

Reminders

If you enable morning reminders, Goals asks for notification permission and schedules reminders on your device. You can turn them off in Goals or in iPhone Settings.

Feedback and support

If you contact support by email, the developer receives your email address and whatever you include. Feedback and support messages are used to respond to you, investigate problems, and improve Goals. Avoid including sensitive information you do not want to share.

The same handling applies to feedback previously sent through Messages and the sender details provided with it. Your goals and reflections are not attached automatically.

Messages and email are handled by their respective service providers under their own privacy policies.

Advertising and tracking

Goals contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell your personal information or use your feedback for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Local entries remain until removed through available app controls or until you delete the app. Removing a long-term goal can leave its completed result in History. Offloading the app preserves its data; deleting the app removes its local data. Copies in device backups are managed separately through your Apple backup settings.

We delete feedback and support messages, including associated contact details, within 90 days after the matter is resolved. You may request earlier deletion using the contact below.

You can request deletion of feedback and support messages by contacting us below. We cannot remotely access or delete the goals and reflections stored on your device.

This policy is hosted on GitHub Pages. We have not added analytics, advertising, cookies, or tracking scripts to this page. GitHub may collect technical information, including visitor IP addresses, to operate and secure its service. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Changes to this policy

If Goals changes how it handles information, this policy will be updated with a new revision date.
